Administration

Accounts, password requests, and session control

Administer account access and supported recovery actions.

Overview

Administer account access and supported recovery actions.

Before you begin

Use an authorized administrator account. Role assignments and subsidiary boundaries should reflect approved responsibilities.

Main task

  1. Open Accounts in Administration and review the intended user.
  2. Create/edit the account using required fields and assign allowed roles and subsidiaries.
  3. Review password-change requests and accept or decline the appropriate request.
  4. Clear a reviewed account lock with the supported control.
  5. Use the authorized organization/session view to inspect activity or remotely log out a user when required.

Check the result

Account recovery and session termination are separate controls. Password requests are reviewed; clearing a lock alone does not grant new roles.

If something goes wrong

Check inactive accounts, incorrect subsidiary assignments, or incompatible roles before changing permissions. Avoid shared usernames; audit history depends on the actual acting account.
