Overview
Understand the supported administrative tools for deliberate data cleanup.
Before you begin
Deletion and reset can permanently remove records. Use approved scope and the product’s preview/confirmation controls. Host backup and production recovery procedures are maintained privately by operators.
Main task
- For targeted cleanup, open the supported Mass Delete type and review eligible selections and dependencies.
- For Transaction Reset, select the intended subsidiary and inspect the preview before its confirmation action.
- For Subsidiary Retirement, review source subsidiaries, survivor, affected records, and the offered preview.
- Confirm only the reviewed operation with an authorized global administrator or required manager role.
- Monitor the run/result and investigate cleanup errors using the recorded operation details.
Check the result
Administrative cleanup is not an accounting reversal. Linked records, access checks, and scope affect eligibility; retirement may have a separate cleanup phase.
If something goes wrong
Do not repeat an apply operation simply because a response was lost. Inspect recorded status and supported retry-cleanup actions first. Stop and review unexpected dependencies or scope before confirming another operation.
